Jim meets Kathy, an unusual young woman who insists on hugs. Bewildered – and then romantically entangled – Jim confronts his neurotic personality in a therapy that relies on apples. Further complications add a secret and a machete. Many hugs and apples later, the secret is discovered and Jim slotted out.
